Robert Budden is ArtExplored's Art Market Editor. He is a financial journalist with expertise in personal finance and investment. He spent most of his journalistic career writing for the Financial Times where he held a number of roles including Deputy Markets Editor, Personal Finance Editor and Chief Media Correspondent.

He has written extensively on many areas of personal finance and investment from hedge funds and mutual funds to stocks and shares, junk bonds and financial market instruments as well as alternative investments such as wine.

He has won around a dozen awards for journalism including Pensions Journalist of the Year (Business Journalist of the Year Awards), Investment Trust Journalist of the Year (Association of Investment Companies) and Pensions and Investment Journalist of the Year (Aon).
